TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Title to the goods shall be retained by Shropshire Scale Co until payment in full has been received.
2. Shropshire Scale Co will not be responsible for any loss of earnings or profit, or any other losses occurring as a result of the use or misuse of equipment.
3. Where any computer software is used with the equipment, Shropshire Scale Co will not be responsible for any errors that may subsequently cause the Purchaser any financial loss. It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to fully check the detail on any printer label formats.
4. The Guarantee applies to defects in materials and/or workmanship which occur during the proper usage of the equipment as recommended by the Seller. Mishandling or damage by accident, alteration, modification or otherwise will not be covered by the Guarantee. All of our products come with a full one year return to base warranty. If you do have a problem with the equipment, please contact us and we supply any technical assistance required, or the information needed for return of the equipment for warranty repair. The warranty period is based upon the delivery date.
5. In addition to our Guarantee, we operate a 14 day money back guarantee for stocked items. If you are not satisfied with an item, you can return the item back to us within 14 days, in new condition and in the original packaging and we will refund your money minus shipping costs and a restocking fee of 10%.
For Non Stocked Items, the manufacturers restocking fee applies when available.
No refund is available for made to order items
Please note that you will have to bear the cost of the return postage and ensure that there is sufficient insurance to cover any damage that may be sustained in transit.
6. Goods hired out will be charged excess to the hiring charge if the aforesaid goods are damaged by mishandling, accident or otherwise in any way during the period of hire or whilst in transit by the hirer.
7. All goods are quoted ex-works unless otherwise stated. The Seller cannot accept responsibility for damage caused during offloading howsoever caused.
8. Taking delivery of the goods, parts or services thereof either by the purchaser or their representative shall imply acceptance by the purchaser of the conditions of sale.
9. Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (2006 – WEEE) – The purchaser shall be responsible for adhering to these regulations and all legal and cost implications arising thereof.
